Chairman of the board
Mario holds a Master Degree in Statistical and Actuarial Sciences from Università del Sannio, with a thesis in multivariable statistical analysis, and a Master in Banking Management and Financial Communication.
After a brief experience at University and in Winterthur, Mario started his career in the asset management over 20 years ago, joining Pioneer Investments in 2002, where he was in charge Compliance & AML Department and Trade Surveillance, covering the role of Head of Market Abuse and Head of AML over seven years, and Supervisory Board Member. In 2018 he moved in Amundi as Head of AML, MLRO and as well as Global Co-Head of Financial Security.
Within the Generali Group since April 2021, Mario has covered different positions before moving into his current role: he held initially the role of AML Officer of GIH, as well as AML Officer of GIAM, GIP and GRE. From January 2023, Mario was appointed also as Chief AFC Officer of the Asset & Wealth Management Business Unit.
Mario, is, as of January 1st, 2024, the Chief AFC Officer of the Generali Investments Holding S.p.A. and Head of Anti-Financial Crime of Generali Asset Management S.p.A. SGR (GenAM), as well as MLRO from February 2024.
He is also member of the EFAMA AML Task Force and Assogestioni AML Task Force.
Stefano de Marco has been appointed Head of Human Capital at Generali Asset Management SgR as of 1st January 2024.
He joined Generali Group in 2015, at the beginning as Head of Group Executive Compensation and from January 2019 within the Investments Business Unit as Head of HR & Organization of Generali Investments Holding and GCIO area.
Prior to Generali he had been at Luxottica from 2013, working as Group Head of Reward & International Mobility and in Colgate-Palmolive as Compensation & Expatriates HR Manager from 2011.
Stefano began his career in 2007 as Talent & Development Specialist and then as Compensation & Benefit manager for Atlantia Group (later Mundys).
Graduated in Economics & Finance from LUISS university in 2007, Stefano gained an extensive experience in Human Resources & Organization across different industries (i.e: infrastructure, fast moving consumer goods, luxury, financial services).
Graduated in 2003 at the University of Pisa (Italy) in Economics and Statistics with 110/110 cum laude and a Master in Finance and Econometrics in 2004.
After 8 years in Eurizon AM, beginning as Risk Analyst and then as Hedge Funds Portfolio Manager, and 4 years in Amundi Pioneer AM, she joined Generali Investment Europe in November 2015 as Head of Third Party Client. From October 2018 she was appointed Head of Risk Management for Generali Investment Partners, to become the Head of Risk Management for Generali Asset Management S.p.A. SGR (GenAM), starting from January 2024.
My role involves managing and modernizing our IT platforms and data technology. My team and I are convinced that new technologies can make the difference in our business, and we are focusing on AI, Machine Learning, Advanced Analytics, Hyper Automation, and DLT. My background encompasses large-scale transformation programs by major players, across the banking, asset management, and insurance sectors throughout Europe.
She holds a Master Degree in Law from Università di Roma Tor Vergata and a PhD in Comparative Law from Università degli Studi di Firenze.
Chiara started her career in the legal field joining Assogestioni. In 2012, she moved to Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer as Senior Associate in charge of the Regulatory Department.
Within the Generali Group since February 2016, Chiara has covered primarily two positions, before moving into her current role: she held initially the position of Senior Compliance Specialist - Group Regulatory Compliance at Assicurazioni Generali and was then appointed in July 2020 Head of Investments Compliance and AML Function for Generali Investments Holding.
From April 1st, 2021 to December 2023, Chiara held the position of Generali Investments Holding Head of Compliance.
Chiara is, as of January 1st, 2024, the Chief Compliance Officer of Generali Investments Holding S.p.A. and Head of Compliance of Generali Asset Management S.p.A. SGR (GenAM).
After graduating at Luiss Guido Carli with a a Master in Business Administration (MBA), Simonetta began her career at the Research Office in Associazione Bancaria Italiana (ABI). In 2000, she joined San Paolo Invest in the planning and control department (Group Banca Fideuram – IntesaSanPaolo) and in 2006 she joined Banca Generali, where she became responsible for budgeting, planning and incentives schemes for the Sales Network. In 2015 she assumed the role of Head of Planning and Control of the whole Group Banca Generali.
At the end of 2018 she moved to Assicurazioni Generali, becoming the Head of Financial Control for the whole Asset and Wealth Management Business. In 2020, she was also detached in Generali Investments Holding where she held the position of Head of Planning and Control.
Since January 1, 2024 she joined Generali Asset Management SGR, where she assumed the role of Head of Finance.
Born in Italy in 1977, Michele holds a Master's Degree cum laude in International Economy and Financial Markets, an Executive Master's Degree with High Honors in Insurance and Finance, and is a CFA Charterholder. He also holds a Lean-Six-Sigma Green Belt Certification.
He joined Generali Investments in 2002 as a Portfolio Manager. In 2011, he transitioned to the newly established Portfolio Officers team, assuming the role of heading its Italian team in 2013. In 2020, he shifted to the asset owner side, assuming the position of Head of Portfolio Implementation.
Returning to the Asset&Wealth Management Business Unit in 2021, he has led since then the Insurance Relationship Management team at the Holding level. Since 2024, he has also been serving as the Head of Portfolio Officers at Generali Asset Management.

Katia is Chief Operating Officer of Generali Investments Holding S.p.A. and Head of Operations of Generali Asset Management S.p.A. SGR.
Previous to this role, Katia covered the position of Head of Group Internal Credit Rating Agency in Assicurazioni Generali defining the framework for the assessment of Credit Risk for Solvency II (2014-2019).
Before joining Generali, she worked in Unicredit (2007-2014) and in BNP-Paribas Group UK (2005-2007) covering various roles in credit risk assessment both in risk management and in investment banking.
Katia holds a University degree in Banking, Finance and Insurance Economics from the Catholic University of Sacro Cuore in Milan.
Vincent Chaigneau, who joined the group in August 2017, is Head of Research at Generali Asset Management S.p.A. SGR.
He contributes to Assicurazioni Generali’s Investment Strategy and is a member of the Group Tactical Asset Allocation Committee, as well as the Global Leadership Group.
Vincent runs a team of 30+ top-down, bottom-up and Quant analysts across markets and asset classes. He joined from Société Générale CIB, last serving as Head of Fixed Income Research.
Vincent holds a Master’s Degree and Postgraduate Degree in International Economics and Finance from the University of Bordeaux. He is a member of the CEPR Advisory Board member, and of the EU Economic Board.
Antonio Cavarero was appointed Head of Investments at Generali Asset Management S.p.A. SGR in January 2024.
Prior to that, he was Head of Investments at Generali Insurance Asset Management S.p.A. SGR (GIAM) and at Generali Investments Partners S.p.A. SGR (GIP) between February 2020 and December 2023. A professional with almost 30 years of experience in financial markets, he held different investment roles since he joined the Generali Group in 2014. Before Generali, he had important international experiences with leading investment banks such as Deutsche Bank, Citi, Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking, Banca IMI, Banca Euromobiliare.
Bruno Servant was the CEO of Generali Insurance Asset Management (GIAM) since March 2021, before becoming CEO of Generali Asset Management S.p.A. SGR.. Bruno joined Generali Group in September 2007 as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Generali Investments France, was then nominated as Chief Investments Officer of Generali France in 2012 and since November 2017 he also held the position of Head of Group Investment Management Solutions.
Before working in Generali Group, Bruno Servant was Deputy Chief Executive Officer at UBS Global and prior to that Business Head for Asset Management for Deutsche Bank Paris.
Woody E. Bradford, CFA, is the Chief Executive Officer & General Manager of Generali Investments Holding S.p.A. as well as the Chief Executive Officer and Chair of the Board at Conning.
Prior to joining Conning in 2010, Mr. Bradford was an Operating Partner with Advent International, a global private equity firm. Previously, he spent 12 years at Putnam Investments where he had multiple roles, including Head of Corporate Development and Chief Operating Officer of Global Distribution.
Mr. Bradford is a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute and of the Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar.
Mr. Bradford oversees and serves on a number of Boards as part of his operating responsibilities, including but not limited to Generali Investments Holding, Conning Holdings Limited (“CHL”), Octagon Credit Investors, Global Evolution Asset Management A/S, Pearlmark Real Estate LLC and a number of other affiliated and related entities. Mr. Bradford is a member of the Board of Trustees at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) and currently serves as Chair of the Investment Committee; he previously served as vice chair of WPI’s board. He also participates on The Greater Boston Food Bank Emeriti Board, where he has served as Chair of the Board. He previously served on the Connecticut Insurance and Financial Services (IFS) Board as well as on the Supervisory Board of Quoniam Asset Management GmbH. Mr. Bradford has over 27 years of industry experience.

Complaints handling
The Company has adopted an appropriate procedure to ensure prompt handling of complaints from Clients/Investors (the “Complaints Management” Operating Procedure).
The procedure adopted provide for records to be kept of the essential elements of each complaint received and of the measures implemented to solve the issue.
The Compliance Function is the organisational structure responsible for handling complaints.
Complaints must contain:
i) the complainant’s details;
ii) the reasons for the complaint;
iii) the signature or similar reference allowing the Client to be identified with certainty.
