We offer highly flexible and actively managed multi asset funds as well as bespoke asset allocation mandates.
Multi asset investing has undergone significant transformation in recent years, driven by shifts in market dynamics such as correlation fluctuations and the increasing influence of short-term and systematic investors. The conventional approach to managing relatively passive balanced funds has proven suboptimal in this changing environment.
That’s why we believe that an active, nimble and reactive asset allocation process is crucial. Our approach involves a blend of quantitative and fundamental analysis to pursue optimal diversification and identify potential sources of performance across a broad spectrum of assets and sophisticated investment strategies, including equities, government bonds, corporate bonds, volatility, dividends, commodities, options, alternative risk premia and more.
In order to efficiently harness these different return sources, we use a vast range of instruments that enable us to optimise market timing as well as the allocation implementation (direct securities, ETFs futures, options, etc.). Our multi asset funds benefit from the strengths of our specialised team, who aim to find outperforming asset classes throughout the economic cycle, both globally and regionally.
In addition, our bespoke asset allocation capabilities offer solutions for clients interested in customized liability, cash flow-driven or risk-controlled solutions. We draw on the expertise and synergies from across Generali Asset Management, from the Asset Allocation & LDI Structuring team to the data science team, who explore and develop AI and machine learning models to strengthen our whole offering.
Our aim is to help shield portfolios from the risk exposure inherent in unpredictable market swings, while at the same time stabilizing investment returns.
All of our asset allocation products benefit from a robust, fully integrated ESG framework that underpins our investment process, as well as sizeable in-house research and analysis.
